House
Hunting with Feng Shui - Part 3
If you already
have a good external environment such as the auspicious mountains
and water at the auspicious location, then your internal environment
is used for fine-tuning qi in the environment, and to tap the
auspicious qi for maximum benefit.
After
examining the larger scale environment of 3km radius, then examine
the area within 500 meters radius of the house when evaluating the
immediate environment.
Other Exterior
Feng Shui Tips when doing house hunting:
Roads
-
Avoid having
the main door facing the T-junction or Y-junction
-
Avoid having
the main door facing the straight in-coming road that has high
traffic
-
Avoid having
the main door facing the Knife Formation or edges of flyover
-
Avoid having
the house near to the highway
-
Avoid having
the house in dead end or Cul-de-sac
-
A roundabout
is similar to the Four Water converging into One Formation, and it
is desirable in front of your house.
Hills
-
Avoid having
the house on hill tops
-
If your
house is located at the bottom of the hill, and when the slope
comes towards it gently, then it is auspicious
|
Surrounding
Buildings
-
Avoid having the
house in between the taller buildings, and avoid having the house
surrounded by the taller buildings
-
Avoid having the
house near to places that are too Yang or too Yin
|
Main Door
-
Avoid having the
house main door facing the narrow gap between the two building
-
Avoid
having the house main door facing a narrow corner
-
Avoid having the
house main door facing a single tree
-
Avoid having the
house main door facing the bad views or any poison arrows
-
The outside of the house main door should not be
too dark or get shadowed by a tree, because darkness creates yin energy.
-
When your main
door directly faces your neighbor’s main door, make sure they are the
same width and height.
|
Property
Appearance
Get a regular shaped
house with regular shaped bedrooms. This is to avoid missing corners, and
to apply compass formula more effectively. Next, regular shaped land is
preferred than irregular shaped land.
Examine the
appearance of the house. The facing of the building should be straight, so
that qi that enters the property is sentimental, stable and harmony. The
roof of your house should appear protective, like a canopy.
Avoid the below
buildings:
Another point, make
sure that the design of your preferred house façade is not threatening to
the house opposite. For example, if your house has a triangular roofline,
it would hit the opposite house. This can easily cause the opposite
neighbor to hang a Pa Kua symbol as a remedy to face your house. You are
sure to get hurt by this way.
|
Look Around
Then, inside the
house, stand 5 feet away from the main door, and then look out. Make sure
there are no poison arrows and bad views.
Avoid other poison
arrows outside the main door:
-
Fast moving
highway
-
Bridges
-
Sharp edges of
nearby buildings
-
Pointed roof
lines, pillars, pylons, electric poles, drooping wires, image of a
cross, lamp posts, telephone poles, street signs, hydrants
-
Tall tower
opposite hitting the main entrance of the high rise business premise
building
-
Mountain
Note that what is
nearer to your main door has more effect than what is further away. In
addition, a negative form that is directly in front of the main door has
more severe impact than those that are from the side ways. Remember that
proximity is important in judging the impact of sha qi.
The Art of locating the wealth spot and
date selection are taught in the Master
Feng Shui Course. Water is the most potent feng shui
enhancer or remedy, if it is placed at the right location (Wealth Spot),
and at the right time, with the correct flow and body of water.

If you can buy a good feng shui house,
why buy a house that is broken in feng shui, then try to fix it.
If the feng shui of the house is already bad, your feng shui master
can only help you to fix the internal of your house to avoid the "sha
qi" but there is no "sheng qi" to tap. Your feng Shui Master cannot
fix the external environment or landscape. He or she can only help
you to avoid the bad structure or "sha qi" to improve your house
feng shui.
Fixing a bad feng shui house is just
trying to improve a lousy feng shui house to a house that is not
that bad in feng shui. In the first place, if you can find and buy a
good feng shui house, why not? Maybe, you have very little feng shui
knowledge. This is not a problem. Get a feng shui master to help you
in your house hunting adventure. We at 1Fengshui.com offer feng shui
house hunting service, and Master TY Tan will personally work with
you to find the ideal feng shui house.
Master TY Tan can be contacted by Tel
: 018 - 38 128 38 for an appointment for a free preliminary discussion.
