Water Feng Shui - Water Dragon for Income & Wealth Luck

In feng shui, having a correctly located natural water form is the most powerful feature that can enhance income and wealth.  I would like to elaborate on the various types of exterior natural water form.

Make sure the water can be seen from inside the house, either through the door or through a window. This ensures that the water qi enter the house. Note that it is ineffective when the water cannot be seen from the house although the water is located correctly.

Note that the natural water is superior to artificially created water.

Types of Exterior Natural Water Form:

a)     Rivers and streams

Slow moving river, which is clean and unpolluted that passes the front of house brings good fortune. If you live in a condominium, the river should flow pass the main entrance of the building. Note that river should not flow directly towards your house, or flow away from your house. Rivers at the back create the frustration of missed opportunities.

b)     Seas and oceans

It is auspicious when the waves are gentle, and the breezes are non-threatening. The sea creates sha qi for the house when the waves are too big, and when there is too much wind and too much water leading to imbalance. It is better to reside in a condominium or an apartment than a bungalow house to balance out the effect of the sea. Nevertheless, if the house is one of many hundreds of houses, then it is well balanced, and the sea brings good luck.

c)     Plain lakes and ponds

Waters of plain lakes and ponds are regarded as peaceful and sentimental water. Ensure the lake is in the correct location to your property.

d)     Ponds with waterfall

The size of the waterfall should be proportionate to the size of your house. It is better if water flows in a more rounded fashion without sharp angles, with gentle waterfall. Make sure there are no obstructions such as big rocks or a wall, since these blocks good qi from flowing into the house. Next, make sure there is no sound of gushing water since the sould of gushing water is considered a negative feature.

When there is an absence of exterior natural water form, you can make exterior artificial water form to activate wealth luck.

Exterior Artificial Water Dragon

When there is an absence of exterior natural water form, the exterior artificial water form could be created to activate wealth luck.

Tips on building exterior water dragons:

The water flow should be oriented towards the door or window of the house.

Do not orientate it towards the main door directly. Make sure that there is an

opening such as a door or window to welcome the water qi into the house.

Types of Exterior Artificial Water Forms:

a)     Drains and canals

Some drains are favourable but most of the time, they are unfavourable feature. Never allow exposed drains to completely dry up, as this weakens the sheng qi. The direction of water flow in the drains around the house affects the wealth luck of residents. If there are drains that flow in the wrong direction, build a wall to block off the view of the offending drain. When it is out of sight, it would not affect you.

b)     Well

Round or oval shaped wells are preferred so that no poison arrows created. The well should not be too small or too big, and should be covered by grills for safety purpose. The water must be seen flowing into the well, and flowing out of the well without blocked from view.

c)     Waterfall

The size of the waterfall should be proportionate to the size of your house. Artificially created water should not flow in a sharp 90 degrees fashion. It is better if water flows in a more rounded fashion without sharp angles, with gentle waterfall. Placing decorative plants near the waterfall brings good luck. Make sure there are no obstructions such as big rocks or a wall, since these blocks good qi from flowing into the house. Note that the six-tier waterfall, which has six levels waterfall ending in a single pond, is a very auspicious water feature design.  The water flows towards the house (income enhancer), and ends in a deep large fishpond (wealth accumulator).

d)     Water fountain with pond or plain pond

Do not let your fountain be too large as it dominates the garden, otherwise it will overwhelm you, and it is harmful. Make sure the shape of your pond does not hurt you by pointing directly at your doorways. Create enough depth in your pond in order for wealth to last. Create yang energy for your pond by placing lights, have plants inside, creates movement, rear some goldfish or arowana, and keep water clean.

e)     Swimming pool

The size of the pool should not overwhelm your house. It is best to keep the pool shape round or oval shaped since it could create sha qi if one of its sharp corners is pointing to your house. Swim in the pool daily to create yang energy.

When there is an absence of exterior water form because your house does not have the extra land or garden, the interior water form could play an important role in activating wealth luck.

In modern cities and town, it is difficult to locate the natural exterior natural water dragon. Artificially created  water dragon, if created at the auspicious location and spot with the appropriate water flow can be an amazing powerful wealth and income enhancer.

Lastly, if your home does not have sufficient external space to create an external water dragon or there is just no space available, an internal water feature can be used to activate the wealth and income spot.
